Todays happy tail update: ROSE. Rose had little to no hope at all of being rescued or adopted in her condition at the shelter. Her eyes were full of mucus, she was alarmingly thin with every rib and bone protruding, the vet pronounced her too frail to spay and to top it all off, she was heartworm positive. Two people changed all that for her and just two weeks later, she is spayed, her eyes have cleared up, her bones are becoming less obvious and she is already being treated for heartworms. This is all thanks to two people who saw beneath the dirt, the sadness, and defeat in her eyes. Today those eyes shine with hope, thanks to Jamie Baldwin and Donna Cole Davis.
