Today’s topic comes from a male listener, (edited) D. My girl and I are at odds over this. She has a problem with her 4 year old son calling me daddy. I am the only man that has been in his life for the last 2 almost 3 years so he dont know any better. His biological daddy pays child support but he hadnt seen his son I know since weve been together. But she still acknowledges him as the “daddy’. She has tried to correct her son and tried to explain to him that Im not his daddy but I don’t think he understands all of that right now. Do you see something wrong with him calling me daddy? Cause Im the spending time with him and picking him up from daycare and something else my child’s mama got mad when she heard him call me daddy too. Like that had something to do with taking care of my daughter. Its like everybodys got a opinion in this.
