Just want to congratulate you guys for your hard work done 2014 MIDTERM ELECTION UPDATES: Disclaimer: These result are unofficial but credible. As the long awaited, anticipated, overdue midterm election was finaly held today and results became to tracker in, these are some of the results reaching us so far from sources on the ground and materials from other media outlets. BOMI COUNTY Not too surprising, as the man in charge seem detainment to keep his job, Senator Lahai G. Lassana took a sunset early run and seem not to be slowing down at all, he’s presently in a very comfortable position of returning to Capitol Hill. Morris G. Saytumah, who is the President’s candidate belonging to her Unity Party and the place of her birth, is dragging behind with a disappointing show of strength. GRAND BASSA COUNTY The Liberty party hot bag, Grand Bassa County where the incumbent, Gbehzongar Findley who happens to be the pro Temp of the Senate is barely holding on to his political survival as little known Jonathan Kaipay of Liberty is sweeping his way to victory in a place considered to be heavily a Liberty Party territory. BONG COUNTY Wife of jailed Liberian President Jewel H. Taylor is unexpectedly performing well with Dr. Henrique Tokpah following along and former superintendent Ranney B. Jackson looking from a long way off. Votes counting from lower Bong County, which includes Salala, Totota and Sanoyea indicates Senator Taylor is running with it. The blowup came in Gbarnga where Senator Taylor nailed over 900 votes from eight precinct centers, with Dr. Tokpa crawling behind with a little over 200 votes. GRAND CAPE MOUNT As for Grand Cape Mount County, one time defeated presidential contender of L.A.P now chairman of the ruling Unity Party Cllr. Varney Sherman is on the verge of winning as per most of the votes from all polling centers putting him ahead of other ravels in the race. MONTSERRADO COUNTY What is now a known fact across Liberia, the region and the world, George Weah has undoubtedly bloody nose everyone standing in his way including the financially potent former oil executive son of President Sirleaf, Robert A Sirleaf. According to results culled from print and electronic media in Monrovia, a slur of victory came from the following voting centers, G. W. Gibson Public School Weah swept the polls with 492 votes while Sirleaf could only afford to accumulate a total of 79 votes. At the Newport Jr. and Sr. High School where Sirleaf cast his vote on Saturday morning, Weah swept with 560 votes, while Sirleaf got 106 votes. In what the Sirleaf camp has claimed as its territory, the PHP (Public Hand Pump) community and where the camp headquarters was based, Weah flogged the son of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf massively with a total of 304 votes to 58 votes. In West Point where the Sirleaf camp has argued that it was no man’s land, Sirleaf was badly defeated by Weah who proved that the area is indeed his territory. At the Liberia Electricity Corporation Poling Center in West Point, Weah clinched 970 Votes while Sirleaf could only grab 93 votes. The rest of the other candidates in the race barely cross the beginning line before speaking of the finishing line. As of now, Weah is Senator elect of the county which host the seat of government. SINOE COUNTY As predated by some political seers, Sen. Mobutu Nyenpan and the fast talking Ex-Superintendent of that county, Milton Teahjay are now running on a ballot for ballot deadlock race to prove who is politically supreme. MARYLAND COUNTY In the bordering county of Maryland, the waters seem to be getting muddy for incumbent John Ballout as early result from centers like the county high school, Pleebo High School, the densely populated New Kru Town Community among other center seem to be heavily towering for Gbleh-bo J. Brown, the foremost challenger. MARGIBI COUNTY This county which is know to some as the nearest sister to Montserrado County is in a deadlock with Congress for Democratic Change Ansu D. Sonii, former rebel commander and defeated Lawmaker Richard Saah Gbollie and Womba J. Tornonlah in a no man’s land fight to the finish. RIVER GEE This county with a fish capital seem to be falling in the net of progressive icon Conmany Wesseh. LOFA COUNTY Alhaji G. V. Kromah, former rebel leader of ULIMO and Professor of Mass communication is doing well so far, on his heel is the senatorial set defender Sumo Kupee. RIVER GEE AND GRAND KRU Due to the almost complete disconnection from the rest of the country in term of development, roads, communications ect, Grand Kru and Rivercess are now proving to be also unreachable for any election results, NO CALL NO SHOW FROM THEM SO FAR. WE UPDATES AS IT UNFOLDS.
