Told the kids there would be a surprise tonight. I meant Frozen in the park in Rocky Hill, but wimped out on chasing a 2-yr-old through a dark park while watching Frozen for the 10,000th time. Had to take that idea and let it go. Switched up the surprise to fresh-baked cookies and a classic on the deck- finding memo. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. FYI, Ill invite more kids over for this when it starts to get dark earlier in the fall.
