**** Tolly needs the help of a New Hope approved rescue to move to safety tonight.*** A volunteer writes: Tolly was bred by and lived with the same family, kids and other dogs for five long years…She is said to love only her human and animal clan and dislikes others…. She would be playful, affectionate, house trained, crate trained and knows a number of commands… Could she have been brought up so sheltered that the outside world appears as a threat to her? Will we ever know….? Well, Tolly who arrived a few days ago, was quite welcoming in her kennel, tail wagging, body wiggling and enticing eyes..Could she be misleading me as she came to us as upset as a bull in an arena? I asked a staff..Tolly ? She is cool…Ok, lets try. Turkey balls help..Tolly withdrew to the back of her kennel at first. She was a little bit spooked but only for a very short while. She came forward and got leashed.She walks quite well, pulling slightly and eliminating as soon as we reached the yard. I heard a soft growl as she neared another pooch who was a little agitated.. In a pen, Tolly came to sit next and close to me, accepting caresses..and treats, looking at me with very tender eyes. I do not think there was any misunderstanding on my part… Tolly was quite nice although cautious…she looks like a dog who has been kept very much apart from the rest of the world…At least, I can say that she showed her soft sides to me….
