Tomorrow I will be jetting off to Tanzania to embark on the biggest challenge of my life (so far hehe). Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is something few people get to do and I have to thank everyone for helping me out with my training and my fundraising over the past year, I really could not have got to this point without you all :-) Huge thanks to my amazing fiance Laura Laker for her moral support, my mum and dad Adele Aziz and Gabrial Aziz for their huge help with fundraising, my sisters Tara Aziz, Rachel Aziz, Suzanne Lily and Salwa Bowen and brother Eamon Aziz for their ongoing help and all of my amazing friends who have helped and donated on my page, a MASSIVE thank you to you all! Im a lucky guy to have such great people in my life :-) Also a thanks to Lauren Sutherland for helping me to train my legs, fitness and stamina with lots of bootcamp sessions recently and Wendy at the Marie Curie Newcastle Hospice for organising some great training walks to get me us all physically prepared for the climb! So over the next week Ill be climbing to a height of 5,895 metres, not showering for 6 days, going from +30degrees to potentially -30degrees, trekking for around 6-16 hours per day all for Marie Curie Newcastle Hospice a well worth cause! justgiving/photo
