Tomorrow is my last day as Edmontons Historian Laureate. It has been a very short two years! The best outcomes for me are that I have met so many new people who are telling some interesting stories, celebrating significant anniversaries and are connecting to their city. I have also watched the established heritage community make substantial inroads in preserving and promoting our heritage. There are some skilled and committed people looking after our history. I hope I have helped in some small way. I wish the next Historian Laureate a fruitful and interesting two years (2014-16)!
