Tomorrow marks 3 years since we lost Kortni. Every year it seems like it was just yesterday she was standing by the Christmas tree in her banquet finery smiling for a picture. And then suddenly we were sitting at her funeral wondering what the hell happened and how we were supposed to move forward. Every year at this time the hurt seems fresh and new. Its hard. There just arent words to describe how hard. Which is part of the reason I dont talk about it. But then tomorrow ends and the world turns and we move on to another day and we force/remind ourselves to focus on and apprciate all the blessings we have instead of the joy we lost. I came across this song this morning and it nails it. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts for our family. The friendships and support of all of you are one of those blessings.
