Tomorrow should be an interesting day....I am going to be firing people....exterminator service, and lawn service. Ive had both since I moved in, 11+ years ago, but one is not doing what I am asking, and the other, I think FINALLY we have the ant problem under control (and the rat problem, since the neighbor who kept her dog food outside has moved). I dont like firing people, especially the yard guy, but he really has become completely useless.....I have to -specifically- ask for him to trim hedges, roses, weeds.....every damned thing...really man, you cant see that looks like hell? The only reason I kept him is because he WAS reliable as far as getting grass cut, but I should NOT have to keep reminding him, you need to cut the roses down, you need to trim the hell out of the oleander because the neighbor doesnt like the shedding in his yard... (cant blame him for that!)....just have HAD it with him....and the real pain is the fact, I have needed to ask him repeatedly. Problem out here is, if you can find someone who actually shows up, WEEKLY, and CONSISTENTLY, is hard to do. So, for $5 more per month, this persons crew will be on top of it. I have been watching comments in other local groups, and his staff keeps their word...you get what you pay for. Sorry Ron, you are out.
