Tomorrow we meet with the medical oncology team (chemo) to decide what will be best for Mikes treatment. Wed LOVE if they said No Chemo. But if it is a must were hoping for as minimal as absolutely possible. We did hear from his ENT at the James this morning. He isnt comfortable doing a biopsy on Mikes spine! YAY!! So what he decided was to wait 6-8wks & do another scan, measure it & see if there were any changes. We believe this is an awesome decision, keeping in mind this could also be injury to his spine from his active lifestyle and not more cancer. All of this waiting is the hardest part. But his next appointment will be the making of the mesh mask used during his radiation. THEN his treatments will begin. Were still looking at another week and a half to two weeks longer. Please keep us in your prayers. The worry, fear, sadness and the unknown have weighed heavy on our home at times. Were all doing our best to encourage each other & remind ourselves of the positive encouragements from others. Its a day to day battle. But were determined to not let anything break us
