Tomorrows meeting: Dress will be BDUs. Our focus will be Emergency Services. 7-8 December will be the Constant Watch 2013 exercise. This is a nationwide communications exercise. We are to set up and run HF communications from 1600 hrs local on 6 Dec until 1600 hrs local on 8 Dec. There will also be a concurrent mission number for ground and air crews as well. This mission base will be Grain Valley Airport and will include 24 hour operations with 14 hour duty days. If you are available to participate (either for the full exercise or part thereof) please let me know at tomorrows meeting. There WILL be opportunities to be signed off on GTM (ground team member). We will have cadets arrive at 0800 on Saturday 7 December and leave at 1600 8 December. I will have a detailed packing list very soon (hopefully later today) but please bring $12 cash for 4 hot meals that will be provided (lunch & dinner Saturday, breakfast & lunch Sunday) Cadets will also have an opportunity to be on radio duty so please make sure you have your ICUT tests complete. Also, we have a great potential to have O-rides for our cadets (weather permitting). Please make sure you have your forms 9 & 9A so you can participate. For our new cadets, this means you will be flying in a CAP airplane! If for any reason you would rather not, that is always acceptable. All attached forms should be filled out and brought. 1 December - 15 January you can apply for Summer National Cadet Special Activities, please see ncsas for more information. Scholarships from NHQ may be available, the application period is the same as for the NCSAs. December 30 no meeting for the holidays. We will take this week off to spend time with families. If anyone cannot make the December 23 meeting due to traveling/family you will be excused. Please use your chain of command to let someone know. March 14 - 15, 2014 is the 2014 Missouri Wing Cadet Competition.
