Tonight Clint Heuett is resting peacefully. The doctors removed the large breathing apparatus from his mouth and installed a tracheal tube to allow easier breathing. Pneumonia persists but is under control His head pressure is down to 10 and they want it to be at 8. Each day sees small and important progression toward the ultimate goal of having Clint open his eyes and speak. Hopefully this could, God willing, take place late in this week. He coughed yesterday indicating the first automatic response since the accident. Slow but sure. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.
