Tonight! Director PJ Raval in attendance at 14 Pews 7pm screening of Before You Know It! MEET ROBERT: A native Texan and son of a Southern Baptist preacher. Robert is the long-time owner of Roberts Lafitte, a Galveston, TX hangout that is the self-proclaimed longest running gay bar in the state. A community institution, Robert’s Lafitte caters to a largely LGBT senior population, providing an informal, but vital, network of support and camaraderie for its patrons. With days full of garage sale romps and nights enlivened by the off-the-wall drag performances at Lafitte’s, Robert lives a colorful life.
