Tonight I hit the keyboard, with some angry, frustration and disappointment in my heart, firstly as a Reptile lover, Reptile Owner/Breeder and Reptile Park Owner in South Africa. A guy who knows very well what it is like to give it all to the cause in so many ways, not serving myself or family only but always considering others in all we do. Been a Christian Man ( A Statement I dont take lightly either) I believe in giving back and serving others. We give reptiles , time, course, advise and even the hard earn rand away, not expecting anything in return. Why is it, that this is never enough??? We too need to survive and run our company as a business as this is our sole income. We strive to keep the balance healthy between our staff, our competitors, our clients and people in general. Why is it that this is never enough? I run and own a Snake Park called Apex Predators Snake Park in East London, South Africa. The Park is not even two years old (an Infant) still,we were rated the best interactive Snake Park on the Globe...THATS A HUGE STATEMENT FOR THE EASTERN CAPE AND SOUTH AFRICA IN GENERAL!!!!!! Not even this is enough? My company Apex Predators has been around for 12 long years of service excellence. 7 days a week and 24/7, no leave for me and my wife and our two daughters in 12 years. Every day sacrificed to the cause. We have bred some of the best reptiles in South Africa and even globally for the past decade to name a few: many refer to us as the Lamprophis Capital of the world i.e Ilumo House Snakes, Butter House Snakes (First in the world) Rock Monitors for the past 9 years consistently, the only institution that has done this. Rare indigenous reptiles: Scaleless puffadders, Gabinos and many many other rare indigenous and rare exotic reptiles for the Pet Trade. Many a happy customers have left our stores and have remained our clients for over a decade now. We fly our Captive bred babies across South Africa and service many Pet Stores with our quality off spring. We even have reptile exporters that take our babies annually to export to Europe and America. We know they make sometimes ten times more than we do, And still this is not enough? Competitors slander us, so called mates in this industry slander us, people use and abuse our good friendly nature, friends sit and break bread with us and are the first to steal reptiles from us or run slandering us to others. We turn the other cheek. Still this is not enough? We do a lot of work with Rural people in the Eastern Cape, we are not in the money printing business, Alot of our work is pro bono (free / Mahla ) we live by faith, not by Porsche or Ferrari....We choose to remain Ethical, and do the best we can by God and man ...please have the courtesy to treat us with the same respect or have the decency to call us rather that slander us on public sites or behind close doors. We are humans after all, we try hard and believe our success has been in that we go the extra mile, stay up later, work longer hours and apply ourselves to the task ahead. We operate with short term and long term goals. We have vision and strive to stay on course. But most importantly we allow Christ, that is Jesus Christ to those that dont know HIM, to be the CEO of all our plans. We tried the good plans, they failed but The God Plans work much better. For me and my Team Apex, we have come to this point of no return a non-negotiable we will no longer tolerate negativity, insults and false accusations, we dont believe the lies. we will accept our faults, recognise them, repent from them and go forward. we will not negotiate with the devil, his agents or partners and his works. we will always put you our clients best interests at heart. we will choose not to slander those that slander us Thanking you in advance for reading this.
