Tonight I ran into the store to buy some chalk. A women in front of me tried to buy diapers & an air freshener. She tried 2 cards & was declined each time. She didnt leave the store instead was trying to call the credit card company. When I went to pay I whispered to the cashier to add those items to my bill. I tried to be secretive, but the cashier handed the items to the women and said she got them for you. Her response God bless you thank you. Me as I hurried out of the store No problem. I truly was trying to be secretive, something just told me to do it...I have learned to always follow my intuition. I got back to the car (Hubby & the boys were waiting in there) and the woman came to my car window about in tears and said again Thank you thank you, God Bless you. Can I get a hug. When she left my oldest said What Momma, what did you do? It was a great teaching moment. Normally I wouldnt want recognition, but I am thankful I received it in front of the boys so they were able to learn by example. Seek to help instead of judge. You never know what people are going through or have been through. Be someones miracle.
