Tonight I watched the movie Ragamuffin. It is a movie about Rich Mullins life as a musician and his journey to find God. Wow. It was crazy amazing! It will make you smile and cry. It is pretty intense. Be forwarned it will make you rethink conventional religion. Whoever produced it did a crazy good job with the filming and the many flashback scenes of when he was a kid. Its a pretty long movie, 2 hours and 17 minutes, but well worth the watch. There are instances where swearing occurs. Damn and Hell. I think thats it. This is a PG-13 movie, I would guess because of those words and also drinking scenes. I personally would recommend this movie, because Rich Mullins seemed to have a renegade way of searching for God. He wanted to find God for himself -- not from what other people told him to think. Do you REALLY know that God loves you? Hmmm.... I wouldnt recommend it for kids younger than around 10.
