Tonight PBS is premiering the documentary Plimpton! Starring George Plimpton as Himself detailing the mans life and career. A massively influential figure, even a decade after his death, Plimpton was one of the founders of The Paris Review, a writer for other magazines like Sports Illustrated | SI, an actor in movies such as Good Will Hunting and Lawrence of Arabia, a close friend of many presidents including John F. Kennedy, an NFL quarterback, an NHL goalie, Playboy model and Life magazine photographer, a writer of more than 15 books and a musician for New York Philharmonic.
