Tonight, after a long round of the waiting game, I heard back about my full body scan. GOOD NEWS, the scan came back negative! This means that there are not masses, simply cancer cells that have yet to replicate to a size large enough to show up on the type of scan that I had. This eliminates the need for surgery and instead I will just receive a large dose of radioactive iodine to hopefully kill the rest of those cells and well recheck for the cancer marker in a year. Thanks to all the WINGS Warriors for the prayers and good thoughts, they worked!! :)
