Tonight as I say good night let me leave you with this, I think the saddest thing is when you want a hug, a good night, a text, a phone call, a message at all, anything that says I crossed someones mind, and all you see is your OWN shadow with no sound.....at least the shadow knows, dont leave me shadow, you are all I have.....good night my faceless friend. You ARE all I need. Now the soul is freed. Let the living have their greed. Rest thy head, rest thy soul, the rest of the world is dead. In a split second life leaves you, but you my shadow, always sees me through. Right or wrong I do, never do you say we are through. Follow me in the light. I do know you fear, because you disappear in dark of night. Peace out my shadow, the darkness is also my shadow. I only fear what lives inside me. Until it to shall die, tis only a darkened soul that will cry. Good night shadow, thanks for listening. I am turning out the light, go and hide, for its the darkness you fear, but I will be alright.
