Tonight, my mother celebrates the Ribbon Cutting of her Second Not for Profit The Mother Bear Network. Mother Bear provides a 1800 hotline for those & or families who are faced with Mental Health Crises or trouble shooting how to assist their loved ones. It also works with psychiatrists to facilitate a home help program for families to be able to support their loved ones. People whose families support their recovery tend to succeed much more than persons whose families are not involved. Ive noticed as usual a trend of themes in the feed today. From young community members taking their lives, to siblings being needed to be hospitalized. Whether its an unpredicted difficult night, or learning to trouble shoot how to be a family member to a person struggling. This Non Profit serves to put a drop in a larger bucket of an aspect of health reform so desperate in our society. Many intrinsic problems are much larger than what one small non profit can do. Although awareness, and being able to network viable existing options, have arisen as alternatives to extremes. Please Like Mother Bear CAN, Families for Mental Health. Please get the word out that our loved ones can receive the attention and support they so deserve. I know that my familys endless time and devotion have gone into creating these initiatives & Im so grateful to them even so I miss them sometimes! Please spread the word, and Congratulations to all the Mother, Father, Sister, Brother Bears whose time and families went into creating this effort. Congratulations to Mother Bear.
