Tonight we welcomed Dr. Dana, who volunteers for World Vets and travels to Nicaragua to help horses and other equines and works to educate their owners on how to better take care of them. If you arent familiar with World Vets, its a 501(c)(3) that sets up week long trips to developing countries to help with various animal care aspects, especially spay and neuter and training vets in those countries in surgical procedures. Volunteers include veterinarians, vet techs, and people who are just interested in helping animals. World Vets also does disaster response on a global scale, which is of course near and dear to our hearts. Thanks, Dr. Dana for your presentation and your dedication.
