Took Jesse Duffano up what I believe to be a very large red oak today. His first climb. He limb walked a 30 limb almost all the way out. Did great getting out there. He tripped and fell off the limb on his way back. His line got caught in a crotch. It was the funniest and scariest thing Ive ever witnessed. From now on helmets on rec climbs are mandatory. If that crotch wasnt there he would have taken a 20 ride into the tree head first.
