Took Lisa for her first ride in the Torino this afternoon and Im not sure she was too happy about the smoking tire syndrome I seem to have! Lol - 521 inches of Super Cobra Jet power and 5-6 mpg means A LOT of stops at the gas station and 93 octane gas $$$! We cut 1/2 coil out of my front springs for that lowered look and Im gonna shoot some Rustoleum Satin to the GT hood, Passenger fender, and decklid I got from a California donor car to make it all the same color in the morning! :) I ordered 2 new B.F. Goodrich tires for the front today and have an appointment to have all new exhaust put on Thursday with Flowmaster 40 Series! Hoping to get the Cobra grill and headlights all in next week too :) Looking forward to a great Summer of driving before it goes to John Murphy of Murphy Restoration in November for body work and new Calypso Coral paint (Orange)! Ive got bucket seats, a restored console and floor shifter, and new carpet to be put in too :) Im soooo excited, can you tell???
