Took advantage of the sunshine and warm weather to get some projects started. 1. My work table. I love this old cabinet. Its not on my projects list at the moment, but it worked well today to lay the two table tops on for their sandings. 2. Two table tops. L is a card table that needed some putty in the cracks. I thinks its ready for some paint. R is a drop leaf that needed some light sanding to remove some paint and glue stains. This one was requested to be a whitewashed top. Ive never done that before, and Im a little nervous about it. But, its just paint, and if it doesnt work, then it can be redone, right? (-: 3. This old picture frame is destined to be a one of a kind race bib and medal display. Ive started painting, using APC Parchment (a lovely yellowy off white, sadly discontinued by APC). The hardest thing for me to do is walk away while painting and let it dry between coats, but I know the results will be so much better if I do.
