Took the stitches out of my arm today. It was a decent way to symbolize healing... new beginnings... all of that happy horseshit. As I was removing said arm repair, I couldnt help but to be struck by the irony of the situation. You see, I was scheduled to get an Herbivore tattoo last Friday. Made the appointment before the accident. I had been waiting for this particular tattoo, longer than Ive been waiting for my Ganesh. This year is my ten year Veganversary and I figured that the time has come for this to pass! Well, I had to cancel Fridays appointment because the stitches are right where the tattoo should have been going. Of all places on this big ol soul sack... one of the injuries had to be right there! Oh, Id have gone right on in for my appointment with stitches elsewhere but no... right there. As I gazed upon my newly stitch-free arm, I noticed that my developing scar had quite a bit of character. Instead of unveiling a freshly healed, beautiful new tattoo, I have released what looks pretty much like a very sad vagina. Story of my life. Hehehe...
