Tix $20-$70. • Saturday 8a, 8th annual Shamrock Shuffle 3K, downtown. $30, to benefit Lexington Habitat for Humanity • Sat 9a, RailRunner 10-miler ($50) & 5K ($30), at R.J. Corman Railroad Group in Nicholasville, to benefit Chrysalis House. • Sat 10a-11a, Women and Strength Training, interactive seminar at LHAA Fitness Center off Southland Drive. No charge. • Sat 11a-7p, Lexington St. Patricks Day Festival, downtown, starting with a blessing of the keg of Alltechs KY Bourbon Barrel Stout at Fifth Third Bank Pavilion. Plenty of vendor tents at Cheapside. • Sat 1p, 35th annual St. Patricks Day Parade, on Main Street from Midland to Mill. • Sat 10a-6p, Kentucky Green Living Fair, at Center for Rural Development in Somerset. Admission $5. Portion of proceeds to Community Farm Alliance. • Tue 3/18, 6p, the 2014 Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball awards ceremony, at Lexington Centers Bluegrass Ballroom. Tix $10 & $50, to benefit Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. • Thur 3/20, 8a-4p, 5th annual Go Green, Save Green workshop, at BCTC on Newtown Pike, for businesses that want to be more environmentally friendly. $25.
