Topic : MYSTERY BEHIND UNANSWERED PRAYER. I have been seeking the face of The Lord in prayer to know the mystery behind our unanswered prayer, I thank God for the few he has opened my eyes to see, and after this message if you can comply with it, you will get answer to your prayer. Prayer is a supplication between you and God, and this is a relationship that must not be cut off between you and God. Prayer is a time you have discussion with your Heavenly Father , it is a time Gods throne are closer to you, saying son, speak for I am hearing. A life that lack prayer would be empty with the presence of God, and cant hear God speaking to him or showing him mystery. But now before addressing God as father, you must first be his child. Another part of it is that God does not answer those who cherish sin in their heart, the sin you love so much that you will not give it up. I always says that the only prayer that is expected from a sinners is prayer of repentance. ISAIAH 59:1-2). Now lets agree that you are born again, because before you can ask, you must first be his sons or daughter. MYSTERY BEHIND UNANSWERED PRAYER. 1. DEMONS ATTACK YOUR PRAYER : before we study what could be in your life that could prevent God from answering your prayer, lets first consider this point. now many has been praying, asking something from God and yet they never get answer to their prayer, there are power behind it. Whenever you are praying to God, there is a combat going on in the realm of the spirit, between you and demon. Whenever you are praying, your prayer would first appear in the form of smoke, but when you began to be in the realm of the spirit your prayer would turn to fire, I mean when you began to pray fervently. But out of 100 percent of people that prayed, only 1.9 percent of people are they that their prayer turned to fire. Because their prayer are attack by demons. How ? I will tell you. When you are praying, a lot would be going on spiritually, there are demons operating in the sky, and rulers of the darkness of this world, they are greatly stopping the prayer of people. Whenever you are praying, and your prayer is about to turned to fire, demons operating in the sky would give signal to the demons operating the land to distract you from praying. This is the time that your phone can ring, somebody can knock at your door ,once you attend to this, you wont get answer the prayer, such case you will have to go back and start again from praise and worship. The reason why they allow your phone to ring or allow somebody to knock at your your door is because whenever somebody leave the presence of a God to attend to earthly thing, it make God angry and leave because he is the jealous God. That is why if you notice, you would see that after that you have attend to earthly thing, when you come back to that place of prayer you wont feel the presence of God any more just because God has left. Another thing demons did when you are praying is that they make you loose focus . Strange thought would began to come, useless thought, unprofitable thinking, although you continue praying with mouth but your heart is meditating on what demons has project to your heart to be thinking all this stop your prayer from getting to heaven. Another thing demons do is that they would strike you with arrow of fear, then suddenly you will begin to be afraid, you will now open your eyes looking around although praying, but your attention is now deviating, such prayer cant be answer. In all this case you only need to resist the devil, and he will flee away from you. James 4:7. 2. UNFORGIVENESS : in The Lords Prayer, it says forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Any one that have the spirit of UNFORGIVENESS in their life, such a person can not get answer to his prayer. When you refuse to forgive those who offend you or hurt you, God cant forgive you as well, this has stopped many prayer from being answer, such a prayer can not go BEYONG the cloud, it would be attack by demons, such a prayer would not carry the sign of the blood of Jesus.(mat 16:15). 3. DISCORD IN FAMILY : when you and your husband or wife are not in unity, your prayer can not reach God. When there is misunderstanding In every time, and when there is better ness in the heart of wife or husband against each other, their prayer can not be answer , when they prayed without settle it, their prayer would be hindered. 1 peter 3:7. 4. EVIL MOTIVES : asking not according to Gods will, but asking according to the lust of your flesh, you are asking because you know if you have such, your pastor would bow before you, asking for the purpose of pride. James 4:3. 5. UNCONFESSED SIN : when you refuse to confess your sin before God, because you are not ready to forsake it, the prayer of such person can not reach God. If you regard iniquity in your life , God can not hear you. Psalm 66:18. 6. REFUSING TO COMPLY TO GODS WILL : when you are not ready to satisfied God, and you want a God to satisfied you, that can not be possible. You must first surrender to the will of God. 7. UNBELIEF : when you are asking, Something from God but yet you have limited the power of God, you are doubting the power of God, this is a dishonor to God, such a prayer can not be answer. James 1:6-7. 8. IDOL : when you allow earthly thing to be number one in your life, and you put God as the second or number two ,God can not honor the prayer of such a person, his prayer can not be answer. 9. STINGINESS IN GIVING : when you refuse to help others when you are able to help, whenever such a person need help from God, God would deny his voice . I was coming from BADAGRY sometimes ago, I was in the car, there was an old man that sat beside me. The Holy Spirit spoke to me to help the old man that sat beside me to pay for his transport, when the old man drop, I said : daddy dont worry, I will pay for it, he look at my face and shook his head and went. When I got home, I was praying, I have even forgotten that such happened, as I was praying, The Lord spoke to me THANK YOU FOR PAYING FOR MY TRANSPORT TODAY, BECAUSE OF THIS, THAT WHICH YOU HAVE BEEN ASKING ME FOR LONG TIME, I HAVE GIVEN YOU WITH A NEW GIFT. so God love a cheerful giver, this has been the reason why the prayer of many are hindered, God has assign them to lift some people up, but yet they refuse to do that, when such a person prayed, his prayer can not reach God.
