Topic of discusssion-16/07/2014: “Local Gov’t permanent secretary, John Kashaka and four other employees guilty of causing financial loss of over 4bn UGX in botched purchase of 70,000 bicycles meant for local council leaders. In Uganda, the maximum penalty in jail for causing financial loss is 14 years of jail. Is that enough or too much, what else should be projected by government with the help of MP’s to help fight corruption suitably?
