Tour de Turtles update! Our turtles are all over the Western Hemisphere! Our current leader, leatherback Panama Jack, has traveled an incredible 937 miles and is hanging out in the Gulf near Mexico while Calypso Blue III is right off the coast of Louisiana. Loggerhead Melba is heading up the Gulf Coast of Florida, Loggerhead Anna is in the Florida Keys, Loggerheads Elsa and Shelley have stayed close to home and are outside West Palm Beach and Cocoa Beach, Estrella and Esperanza (who have both nested several times already) are still off the coast of Tortuguero, Hawksbill Sugar remains near the island of Nevis and Coco is a few islands away on St Eustatius. Rehabilitated loggerhead Pine Tyme booked it out of Marathon and has already passed Key West!
