Traffic Advisory - Closure for Utility Work Fern Street Road Closure [June 24 - August 31] – KUB and its contractor will close a short section of Fern Street to through traffic between Martin Luther King Avenue and Selma Avenue weekdays from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. beginning Monday, June 24, and lasting through Friday, July 12, as work is completed on the sewer collection system in this area. The only exception to no-weekend work will be on Saturday, June 29. Starting on Monday, July 15, and lasting through Saturday, August 31, weather permitting, this section of Fern Street will be open to one alternating lane of traffic daily. Access to driveways and other entrances/exits will remain open for local traffic and emergency vehicles on this section of Fern Street. Alternate routes include Oakland Street. Read more:
