Train up a child the way they should go.....you could save their life. January 12, 2015, this little girl was in a plane crash with her Mom, Dad, sister and cousin. The plane landed upside-down in the dark in the Kentucky woods. She was all alone in the middle of the woods with a broken wrist, no shoes, and several cuts. She could have either waited and hoped for help to come, or left to find it. With incredible courage, she took off, walking over a mile through dense brush and freezing temperatures to the nearest home of 71-year-old Larry Wilkins. She made it there in the thick of night by lighting a stick on one of the flaming wings and using survival skills taught to her by her family. “I come to the door and there’s a little girl, 7 years old, bloody nose, bloody arms, bloody legs, one sock, no shoes, crying, said Mr. Wilkins. She told me that her mom and dad were dead, and she had been in a plane crash and the plane was upside down.” As officers on the scene explained, She literally fell out of the sky into a dark hole and didn’t have anybody but her own will to live and get help for her family.
