Training Split: term used in weight training to organize your training sessions by body regions. I typically have a 5-day split. I separate each large muscle group into its own day. I do it this way so I can really focus on the muscle I am working, plus it fits my schedule. This split works for me. You have to find what is realistic for you and what you are able to commit to. If you are only able to make it to the gym 3x a week, then you need to combine muscle groups.
