Traveled by rail from Rome to Sienna and got to begin to see some of the beauty of Tuscany. Trisha finally found friendly Italians after being dissappointed to learn that not every Roman in the city was excited to meet and talk to her. Alessandra and Trisha hit it off and we met her husband (he happens to be the mayor) at the station and they took us to our hotel and gave us their cell number for any "problems resolution." Franco and Maria tried very hard to talk to us in Pictionary-style English and our even worse Italian. No matter, three new friends and a new, beautiful part of Italy!
