Traveled to Bauang La Union this weekend with my Mom to address problems with some her properties. Drove with my Forrester, which runs on high octane fuel, and boy, i spent about P4,000 in fuel! Come to think of it the buses i see plying the northern route looked pretty comfortable, even for my 77 year old Mom.. The only problem is once at the destination, we wont have comfortable transportation - options are just jeep and tricycles.. hmmm. maybe something can be done about this.. i do prefer just taking the bus for the long haul..
