Traveling with a family can be an expensive venture, but it needn’t be. Through this series, we’ll continue to explore a number of trips that won’t leave the kids asking the age old question “are we there yet?” or the family bookkeeper wondering how to pay for next week’s groceries. As I have suggested before, there are any number of things to do in our area and in today’s case – a tour of the Airstream factory, the admission is free. The popular tour draws twenty to fifty people each day. Just last year, Airstream made the list of factories on Fox News’ 10 Must-See American Factory Tours. Like the other sites already visited in this series, most readers are familiar with Airstream, the iconic aluminum, aerodynamic designed travel trailers.
