The track “Frequency” features steampunk poetry over a foundation of classic house piano and clean disco guitar. “Urge” opts for gospel vocals, a deep organ bass line and latin percussion. Dark yet playful, the tunes have a timeless quality to them - they could equally pass for being twenty years old or two minutes old. The two vocal mixes are pared with an instrumental mix of each track. Urge Frequency is Louderest’s first release on the Soul Shift Music label, a label based in the tri state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
