Tri-State Alliance ACTION ALERT: Jan. 23, 2014 This has turned into a tough week, with the House Elections Committee voting in favor of HJR-3, the Indiana Marriage Discrimination Amendment. A big thanks to Kreg Battles of Vincennes for voting against this amendment, and a big disappointment to State Rep. Holli Sullivan of Evansville who voted in favor of the amendment. Clearly she is on the WRONG side of history. Feel free to call Holli at317-232-9815 to protest her vote. This bill will now be considered by the full House of Representatives. We are pleased that State Rep. Gail Riecken has already taken a stand AGAINST this amendment. The only local state representative who has not taken a public position is Wendy McNamara.
