Tribunal rules overtime to be taken into account when calculating holiday pay! You know what that means people who rely on overtime to make ends meet will now get NO OVERTIME and many companies if this is retrospective will go bust! No doubt the PPI withheld number callers will be on this one next. I see overtime as a requirement from a company to meet deadlines and guarantee future employment and nobody is forced to do it, people mostly do it and are happy for the extra cash. A simpler way would be to reduce tax and NI contributions on overtime and not burden already stretched employers and at the same time hinder workers who want overtime!
