Trickle down theory, on paper may seem legitament. Corporations think that if they have wealth , they have power. Which is true to a point. What many fail to realize is that the middle class and lower class actually consume more services and goods, than the wealthy. Therefore the center of economics is consumerism. If everyone is poor, or in debt, who will be there to consume goods, to create jobs ultimately? Dont get rid of food stamps, dont get rid of things that stabilize the middle class and working impoverished . Invest in all and higher education, not healthcare. Invest in infrastructure and not war. Tax the wealthy just as much as you would tax the average citizen. There is hope for this country, but not if we idly let things digress into this black hole of trends. Speak out against corruption, fight for a better tomorrow , and be well informed. Spread knowledge, spread ideas. Whatever political party you attach yourself too, you should be open minded for innovation. If we choose no action, our future may be dismal. Is this the kind of world we want future generations to inherit? I dont have all the answers, but the last ten years of my life , Ive realized one true thing. That power corrupts, even the best of us.
