Tried keeping this mare instead of selling, cannot afford it right now... My loss is your gain. Registered Name: TJS JEWEL BARS STAR (all breed pedigree) Birth Date: June 10, 2004 Height: 15 hands Location: Waterford, CA NOW OFFERING FOR SALE... (please read full add) Unfortunately, I have decided to part with my mare TJ due to not having enough time for her. IF there is a perfect horse out there - this mare is it. TJ is a FINISHED horse, by finished I mean... you can spin a hole in the ground, or put a 5 year old on her bareback with only a halter and lead rope to control her. When ridden by an advanced rider TJ is EXTREMELY handy, BRIDLELESS, this mare with side pass, spin, open gates, lope circles, etc... she has a slide stop to die for, a spin that you will have to hold on for, and it takes nearly no effort for this mare to side pass across the arena. I completely and entirely trust this mare with beginners, although she has been my personal horse, she is also used as a lesson horse for young kids. The ONLY test this mare will give a newbie rider is- I dont have to go fast, you wont make me. She is a great step up horse for my timid riders, and a fun horse for my confident riders... Now here is the part you wont believe.... TJ IS A FINISHED BARREL HORSE. I have used this mare as my full time barrel horse, she will breeze a 19 second without huffin and puffin, and will run an 18 second when asked... SHE KNOWS HER JOB! ALTHOUGH she knows her job, AWAY from the show you can trot the pattern all you want, with no hot headed issues... she is extremely collected at shows until walking into the gate, she gets a little ancy and wants to run. We have also headed and heeled off this mare in the pasture and playing around in the arena, PREVIOUS OWNER BRANDED OFF THIS MARE AND SAYS THEY COMPETETIVELY ROPED OFF OF HER... (WE HAVE NOT DONE COMPETETIVE ROPING!) I have absolutely no idea what Im doing with a rope, but she handles me great and seems to know exactly what she is supposed to do. I have also sorted on this mare and she does great, she has a whole lot of cow and wants to please... I have let TJ sit months and hopped on her in a halter and lead rope with absolutely no problems whatsoever. TJ truly is a once in a lifetime horse and I am MAKING SURE she goes to the RIGHT home- I will NOT sell her to someone who will pass her around... this could be your next rodeo horse, cow horse, reining horse, kids horse, pleasure horse... SHE IS VERSATILE! - NO buck, rear, kick, bite, etc. - NOT buddy sour, barn sour, cinchy, etc. - NO soundness problems - NO cribbing, pacing, weaving, etc. ****UP TO DATE ON shots, teeth floating, hoof care, worming, sand clear, etc.**** She is priced to sell because I do not like seeing her sit... $7,000.00 ALSO, know her breeder very well and know the history on this mare.
