True Halloween story Scary Story Becomes Real BY MICAH H. By Stephen Wagner, About Guide This happened in summer sometime in the early 1990s in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. I was between 8-11 years old, and was having a sleepover in my bedroom with my sister and a mutual friend. Im unsure if we were taking turns telling tall tales or if I was the only one, but I began to tell a generic story about a vague axe murderer, who I may have also stated was a rapist, but I am unsure on that point. Of course, this particular monster had to have us as his target, and the story would end with him bursting through a bedroom window, with a massacre of all parties involved resulting. All very normal. What was not normal is that as I described the creatures approach outside, corresponding noises to my narrative would occur, and said noises would move closer as the villain in my story moved closer to the house. I think there were more than two noises in the narrative and echoed outside, but I do remember there being a tree outside of my window, and speaking of a tree branch being snapped or something along those lines as he drew nearer with a corresponding response in the real tree. The last noise I remember speaking of was a rasp of some sort at or near the window, foreshadowing the home invasion via bedroom window. At this point, my sister and her friend were in tears, begging me to stop telling the story, while I was somewhat perturbed. I stopped my storytelling, but remain quite curious as to what would have happened if I hadnt. Make sure u enjoy it!!!!!!
