True love is strong, TRUE love is lasting and sometimes we fail to really realize the extent! My great Aunt and Uncle, Iva and Denzil Waugh were married May 30th 1938. That is almost 76 years. Their love and devotion to each other has been a great example to all the generations that have come behind. We strive to have marriages like theirs.... true love! On February 18th we lost Uncle Denzil (Dink) at the young age of 94. We all felt his loss, but none as vividly as his sweetheart Iva. Her companion of nearly 76 years... Longer than most of us have been on this earth. Heaven just seemed sweeter to her than anything in this world! Yesterday, Aunt Iva, 93, shed her earthly body and slipped into her Heavenly status. She has been united with her Savior and the other love of her life. We will miss both of them profoundly, but it just seems right somehow. There was such a bond between them and even death could not remove it... she missed her sweetheart. We love you Uncle Dink and Aunt Ivy, thank you for showing all of us through the years what real love is about. You have made such an impact on all our lives. You have left behind two beautiful reminders... Linda Jane Waugh Vaught and Jerry Waugh and they have continued your legacy of love. Your children, grandchildren and great grands are the direct proof of your true and lasting love!
