True story: on Tuesday (10/22) on my way home from work, I saw two black SUVs (a Range Rover and a Ford Explorer, if anyone cares) trying to merge. The drivers refused to budge an inch, and they were having a real showdown, getting within millimeters of each other AND the poor woman in the car in front of them, all the while screaming and gesturing at each other. When they finally ran out of room to fight side by side, the Explorer cut off somebody just so he could pass the Range Rover and slam on his brakes ... which the Range Rover subsequently did as well. They then pulled onto the shoulder of the next exit ramp, and these two middle-aged man jumped out of their cars and started beating the crap out of each other. At no point during any of these proceedings did either driver notice (or give a hot damn about) the police car behind them with the lights on. For some reason, I found all of this to be immensely entertaining.
