Truly an awesome wonder I have to share!! As Marcy gives Jaydens Yupik name, she blesses him n gives him water. As shes doing this, she tells him who hes named after in English & tells him his given Yupik name she was giving him. Jayden gives a smile as looking to her after she got done. (jayden was 3 months when he was given his Yupik name) After all that has happened Wth the flood n it was time to go home. Marcy gets a call from Jaydens dad by his given name that early afternoon asking how was everyone n Jayden. She tells m everyones ok n baby too. As they were talking, I came in from a short walk I took Jayden on. She brings Jayden by the phone to let him listen, hes wondering where this voice is coming from, he looks to Marcy n sees that shes not talking. He notice the voice coming from the phone n smiles. As Marcy gets excited as what she just witnessed, she tells the person shes talking to what had happened n he to sounded over joyed after telling him n says oh hi, as he says that its like Jayden gives a wave with his right arm greeting a hi back. After knowing that everyone was ok, they ended their call. A few minutes later Jaydens older brother comes walking in the door to see him n was happy to see that he was ok. He leaves, shortly after Jayden falls asleep n slept longer than usual. A couple days before this had happened, Jayden was being cranky n only wanted Marcy. Jennette told me after a couple days of being with her during the flood Jayden just wants to cry. I told her maybe because his feeling sick, that he really is a good baby that he dosnt cry all that much unless his hungry or needs a change. I believe now when someone worries for a baby, the baby gets cranky!! Just earlier today, Jayden sees his dad by his given name for the first time. As I was about to give Jayden to him, he crys as his already in his arms n reaches out for me. I stood a few feet away and as Jayden is looking to see who was holding him, he quits crying, stares a good minute gives a smile n reaches out until he was in the arms of his dad.. Thank you Marcy & Tj for giving Jayden his Yupik name, I hope he will carry his name well for he was he was named after a good kid. Rest in peace Calvin..
