Truly humbled by all of the Facebook messages, texts, emails, calls etc over the last few days. Thank you all very much and I promise I will get to them all. Debbie and I are very excited and grateful for the appointment by President. Chuck Welch to join the ASU System. We are grateful to Gov. Beebe, Gov.-Elect Hutchinson, the members of our board and the General Assembly for the opportunity to serve as Director of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and the opportunity to stay if I chose. I have been blessed to work with a great group of colleagues at ADHE and the institutions around the state. The opportunity to work for my alma mater and still live in Saline County is certainly a blessing and one that rarely comes along in ones career. We love each of you very much and are thankful for your friendship! Thank you!
