Truthfully. If a dog (doesnt matter what breed) was attacking my dogs so bad that I couldnt get them off, I would resort to whatever needs possible (not that I walk around with pocket knives) to protect them. The fact it was a pitbull (and I put that I quotations cause we all know how the media is, has the testing been done? Is it REALLY a pitbull?) has nothing to with the story. A dog was in danger and an owner/parent did what they needed to protect their loved one. I trust my dogs 99%, the 1% is what makes me aware that ANY dog is capable of negative behaviour.
