Trying to "save" a dog is a LOT of work! Poor Jenna Leigh Carriker took the boys yesterday to see a dog -- Maddox said the house was scary and that everyone was smoking and the dog had a "serious disease". So I show him pictures from Pender humane society. He falls in love with one more than the next with each picture. Jenna takes him all the way to Burgaw at 1 pm. They are closed till 4. Only open 4-7. They wait. At four doors open and the dogs are gone at the vet. Maddox said "mom this is the hardest thing ever". The eight page "adoption form" is waiting.
