Tuesday!! Chilly out there and the clouds are blocking the sky this early morning, Crisp fall chill is in the air. Purdys Pearls: Places to go and people to see. This is going to be an interesting day!!! So far this week it has been full of smiles... surprises and difficult decisions. Yesterday was Girls Day Out. Nine of us graduated from high school together. YES there were others in the class and yes there was more than one room in the school. We started as nine but are down to seven... One is not able to be with us on a regular basis and one had the nerve to move away. But seven of us meet somewhere each month and just enjoy our time together. We have been doing this for 15 years. We started meeting in the evening for dinner and now since we are all retired we meet late afternoon. YES we have become that group of ladies who lunch, We eat, we chat we giggle and have a great time. We also have to go to a different place each month because management generally feels once in a while is good enough for them. And YEP...... we do the doggie bags and ask for no onions or cucumbers on our salad because of digestive issues. We have arrived!! Today I get to do something I have never done before. I have jury duty!!! Are you kidding me!!! I only have one big problem. My digestive issues from the other day have returned. You know.., the one that kept me on the RUN all night? It returned late yesterday evening. Its back at full speed!!! DANG!! I need to wait to call the Court and see if I can get a pass on headed to the County seat., If they say no and that I must appear.....Ill be the one leaping over the rail headed to another type of seat and hope I make it on time. Gonna be a long day. But... pardon the pun.... BUTT..... I do need to go out for a few minutes today somehow and vote. And thats another story in itself. In the meantime... I dont care what your political affiliation is and I dont care if you are an R or a D or even an I.... get out and vote. Heres the deal... if you dont make your voice heard behind that curtain at the election place... dont wanna hear how unhappy you are about the world. Its your right...your privilege....your responsibility..,., to VOTE !!! Stay safe and please pray for Peace. Happy Tuesday ALL!!! Hugs!!
