Tuesday I went to this solar-powered floating school in Lagos. It is designed by renowned Nigerian-dutch architect and urbanist Kunle Adeyemi and located in the floating fishing community of Makoko. A part of town which depending on the eye that sees is either a slum that needs to be demolished because of pollution, lack of infrastructure and flooding risk or a poor mans Venice of Lagos where fishing families have lived for more than 100 years which with ideas like Kunles could be developed to a unique landmark of Lagos.... nleworks/about/press/ Og til danske facebook venner - mere følger på P1 på et senere tidspunkt :-)
