Tuesday November 12 CAST THEM DOWN 2 Corinthians 10; 3-6, Proverb 4;23 When apostle Paul talked about strong holds like imaginations and high things, everyone would be expecting those strong holds to be gigantic demons in black rising up to fight believers, but it is not so. The strongholds he was referring to are not carnal; devil will not appear to you as an armed Goliahat. He will use the channel of your mind to throw arrows against you. His arrows are very subtle and until you learn to cast them down, they will become realities. For example, someone whose parents are diabetic can begin to imagine that he will experience the same. Unknown to the person, the devil is trying to throw arrow to his mind and such a person will surely be diabetic if he/she does not cast out such imagination. If you are travelling on the road, the devil will whisper accident to the ear of your mind but as a child of God, you must never agree, such thought should be cast out immediately in the name of Jesus. Any thought that is contrary to the word of God must be cast out. It is never written in the bible that you will die by accident, rather the bible says you will enter into your grave in full age and in peace. The word of God does not say you will be a partaker of parents’ diseases; it says, you are a new creature; there is no justifiable evidence for you to follow the pattern of the blood line. Now arise, begin to cast down every evil thought that has tarried in your mind for so long and is tormenting you. It is there to choke the knowledge of God and make the promises of God to be of no effect in your life. Cast it out and all will fall in place. Nevertheless, to do this effectively, you must always be obedient to the word of God. I assure you, when your obedience is complete, every evil stronghold will be cast down. PRAYER; Father, I cast down every arrow of the enemy against my mind and I begin to work in line with all that is written concerning me from the foundation of the world in the name of Jesus.
